For our "Mini-Modified" art contest, we're awarding almost a thousand dollars in cash and prizes. The best part? We'll provide you with the canvas, and the artwork is already done! All you have to do is modify one of these miniature (63mm x 88mm) masterpieces. Use paint, pencil, pen or whatever else you desire.
About The Contest
The medium for this contest is the front of a playing card from the game "Magic: The Gathering." For many years, hobbyists have added spice to this pasttime by altering the artwork on the front of the cards in the game. Given their small size (sometimes called "ACEO" by artists), simple alterations can be done in under an hour. Be sure to see our examples page for real-life before and after photos. A sealed box of thirty brand-new cards is included in the contest's materials package.
